What is it?
Cryptolithos is a free-to-play location-based (geo-exploration) game that invites you to place virtual cryptoliths in the real world and watch them spread across the map. Connect with friends, plan your strategy, or play randomly and discover how collective actions turn into unique visual patterns. Every placement of your cryptolith becomes part of a shared cartographic artwork. No cryptocurrencies. No financial transactions. Just play.
How It Works?
• Place your first cryptolith anywhere on the map. • A countdown starts from the moment it is placed. • Invite friends to copy your cryptolith and place it elsewhere — all copies share the same expiration time. • Track the growth of the network in real time. • When time runs out, discover the diagram you created together. All player locations are connected with lines, generating a one-of-a-kind visual diagram that represents your collective movement and collaboration.
